Rose Hill

This group are standing where the white car above stands.

A gateway round the corner in Archer street.

The railway line on the bottom left of the picture came up from the harbour to join the Harrington and Lowca Light Railway at the top of Rose Hill. The photo shows it crossing a bridge over the main line parallel to the road bridge.

The gradient up from the harbour was 1 in 15. Locos were known to have got out of control on it and ended up in the harbour.

This is probably the result!
